I was about 10 years old and all I wanted for Christmas that year was a LEGO set. Not just any LEGO set, but a set that included pirates and their ship. Do we ever recall the many gifts God has given us? While LEGO products can be exciting for a 10 year old boy, God's gifts are for all ages and are always exciting! The way God showers us with undeserved blessings should fill our minds.
Obviously the first, and greatest gift from God, is salvation. We don’t deserve it and we can’t earn it. It is a gift accepted only by faith. It doesn’t cost us anything.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is so important that we accept this gift from God. Without accepting His gift of salvation, we can’t experience the fullness of His other gifts. Put your faith in Jesus Christ and trust Him as your personal Saviour.
Romans 10:9-10,13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
